Useful answers

A few things
you may be asking.

A clear brief is the first step towards the right interpretation setup.

Ask us about your event
What is the difference between simultaneous and consecutive interpretation?

In simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter speaks while the speaker continues, with a short delay. In consecutive interpretation, the speaker pauses for the interpreter to deliver the message. Simultaneous suits conferences and multilingual events; consecutive often suits smaller meetings, interviews, audits and visits.

Can you support online and hybrid meetings?

Yes. We coordinate remote simultaneous interpretation and hybrid setups, considering your platform, language channels, audio quality and participant locations. We recommend a technical check before the event.

Which languages can you arrange?

Paula works with Spanish, English and French, and Kelp Forest draws on a professional network of interpreters for wider language needs. Tell us the languages spoken and the languages your audience needs to hear so we can assess the right team and availability.

Do you arrange the interpreting equipment?

Yes. We help define and coordinate booths, consoles, microphones, receivers, headsets and portable equipment, as well as remote or hybrid language channels. The quote reflects the event’s specific technical requirements.

What do you need to prepare a quote?

Send the date, timings and time zone, venue or online platform, languages, subject and approximate audience size. An agenda is useful, even in draft form. For translation, send the document, language combination and delivery deadline.

Why are there no client logos or named case studies?

Discretion is part of our service. We describe the kinds of work we do without using clients’ names to promote the business. Confidential meetings and documents deserve care before, during and after an assignment.
